A founding member and songwriter for MCA recording artists Sweet FA, Brent was a staple in many notable band on L.A.’s Sunset Strip in the 1990’s including Order and Chaos which included Mark Zonder (Fate’s Warning) and St.John which featured Keith St John (Montrose, Kingdom Come).

In the mid 1990’s Brent became involved in session work in Los Angeles which led to recording guitar soundtracks for film and television including the hit TV series, Walker Texas Ranger.

In 2018 Brent released a critically acclaimed instrumental album which also featured Chris Frazier (Foreigner, Whitesnake) and Brad Lang (Y&T). The album was the only independent release to become the top ten most added to Heavy Metal format radio during its release period in the fall of 2018.

Brent is currently releasing a series of Progressive Metal Instrumental singles featuring Ken Mary (Fifth Angel, Flotsam and Jetsam, Alice Cooper) on Drums and Pete Griffin (Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert) on Bass. Mixed by Grammy winning engineer David Thoener (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Santana) the first single “Electric Necromancer” is now available on all digital platforms.
